TITLE: Old Spanish Lighthouse, Point Loma, San Diego, California
CAPTION: This tower partly constructed of adobe brick and tile taken from Old Fort Guijarros, was built by the United States government. It was officially lighted by its first keeper, Captain James Keating, on November 15, 1855. This light served until 1891 when the tower light was put into commission.
