Unused, standard-sized postcard featuring the Coast Guard Lightship WAL 508.

CAPTION: The Coast Guard lightship WAL 508, launched as the LV 83 in 1904 for the old Lighthouse Service, served 56 years on Pacific Coast light stations from San Francisco to Juan de Fuca Straits. She is steam-driven to this day. Decommissioned in 1960, she later became a floating museum for Northwest Seaport.
