DESCRIPTION Cape Blanco Lighthouse: The oldest and most westerly lighthouse in Oregon, Cape Blanco lighthouse was first activated in 1870. The fifty-nine foot white conical tower and attached workroom with its first-order Fresnel lens, still in operation, have stood the test of time. Depicted are the original duplex brick keeeper's dwelling in the foreground, and single family head keeper'sdwelling on the right.
