COVE POINT LIGHTHOUSE

Calvert County, Maryland

Established in 1828, and located four miles north of the entrance to the Patuxent River, the Cove Point Lighthouse sits on the west side of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.  Another lighthouse built by Havre de Grace, Maryland’s John Donahoo, it stands just over 38-feet from base to the lantern deck.
