 As an affiliate of the Rochester Business Alliance, the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce works with local businesses, government, schools and community groups to support and promote the business community, help build a strong, cooperative working relationship among businesses, foster cooperation and communication with local governments as well as support business education programs.

 Local artist Al Vergona collaborated with model builder and stained glass artist Jamison Helt to bring “The Light of Irondequoit” to life.  Using a visually stimulating mosaic tile technique, Al painted three popular Irondequoit scenes on this captivating lighthouse.  Solar powered panels, diamond-shaped beveled glass, railing and “lighthouse keeper,” all fabricated by Jamison, add to this lighthouse’s appeal.
