A long time resident of Irondequoit, graphic artist Adria Straughn began working for Wegmans in 1989 – and has been the Hudson-Titus store’s sign shop artist since 1991.  In addition to designing “Turtle Island: the Iroquois Story of Creation”, Adria is accomplished at paintings, portraits and  three-dimensional pieces.  Viewers of this lighthouse will enjoy learning about the benefits of the Iroquois and the story behind Turtle Island as its larger-than-life turtle looks on!
